The Big One

Gratuitous pics of the wool sweater I've been avoiding finishing. I think I'm just afraid it'll be completely the wrong size and blocking will do nothing. I'm going to a new knitting group tomorrow and will bring the final step, the last sleeve to finish up...

Your work looks really nice! I know, it's hard to see that a piece didn't turn out the way I'd planned or hoped. Sometimes I give it away (even donate it), sometimes I rip it out, and sometimes I can live with it even though it's not what I'd planned on.

My first baby sweater took monthsto sew together - I was afraid of ruining the beautiful knitting work. When I finally finished it (not that long ago), I did have to redo the buttonhole ribbing a couple of times. Now, though, I have finished another sweater in record time, and am working on two more... I'm not afraid anymore! :)

Good luck!! :)
